Frederick Portigal and Mike Hollis founded Ultraspectral Inc. They have now separated into two companies with Hollis changing the name of Ultraspectral to Geospace Inc. Portigal will continue with the Ultraspectral name and web site.
The two companies are not related except that Portigal is a Co-Founder of Geospace Inc and a major shareholder.
Ultraspectral will continue on it's mission to provide advanced software for object-oriented analysis of hyperspectral data.
